I applied the charcoal drawing I learned in class to the computer. I just blackened the background, and used the erase tool to show the biggest highlights. Then used the pen tool to go over lines. Erase, pen. repeat.

Real charcoal pencils/chalk for self portrait assignment. I may have over done the whole "devine intervention for the perfectionist" thing haha. I really don't look like that when I'm drawing.

Medusa

Love Greek mythology, especially Medusa. My third grade story assignment was my own version of her life. (I was unaware there she already had her own very detailed "history").

I used the wet oil paintbrush, then added the woodcut effect in painter, which is why there are black lines on this. Kinda cool.

It's 10 AM on the first Saturday of December... the only one ready for carolers is my dog. And that's because he thinks y'all are bringing him treats.

Ugly Duckling

I don't think making the ugly duckling a swan was a good solution. It teaches kids the wrong lesson: "Be nice to those who are different. Because one day you'll regret it when they're beautiful..."AND "It's okay if people are mean to you. One day you'll be beautiful." They should fix that ending.

Teachers just lie and lie and lie

Cursive has served no purpose in my life whatsoever. Unless I am signing documents, and even that isn't cursive. It's fast and efficient scribble marks.
